Servo Continuum Wrist
I created this kit assignment for the Desktop Manufacturing course at Vanderbilt for junior/senior level undergraduates. This included laser-cutting notches of a multi-lumen tube to create a wire-actuated continuum wrist. This wrist was then driven by a potentiometer-driven servo motor. Each student was able to assemble these units, and build circuits to drive the potentiometer input and servo output.
The servo is being driven off-camera by a potentiometer.
